Nan Young Carey creates her compositions using the analog process. Simply stated, she is a purist who believes strongly in the fluidness of film and the integrity of the hand printed silver gelatin work. After capturing images on film, Carey develops and prints each limited edition piece by hand in her studio/darkroom.
